Kim: Farm Burger serves better beef burgers
Growing up, I loved McDonald's. I'd beg and plead for my mother to take me there for my favorite: Happy Meals. Then, as I grew older, I graduated to Big Macs and Quarter Pounders, as back then I wasn't nearly as concerned with the quality of ingredients. I was so fond of fast food that a childhood friend once bet me that I couldn't finish two Burger King Whoppers in one sitting. I won the bet, though I missed school and vomited for two days afterwards, during which the slightest allusion, glimpse or thought of red meat sent me sprinting to the bathroom. I wasn't on the brink of death - probably - but I definitely felt like I was.

Group aims to beef up membership
